From a powered-down state: Turn the unit on by pressing the on/off button on the right side of the thermostat. Wait several seconds for the screen to turn on. Blinking Red light:
Solid red light Ð press the on/off button to reset the GFCI.
To reset the GFCI on a Nuheat Signature thermostat,  press the GFCI Test button, which is typically on the top of the thermostat.
If the red light does not turn off, this indicates that there is a ground fault in the heating system.
Try hitting the reset button behind the hole on the top of the heating system itself.

Ecobee is offline:
Before rebooting the ecobee, we suggest that you first reboot your router, and any extenders in the home and wait for internet connection to be return on another device.
To reboot the ecobee, remove from the wall by pulling straight out from the terminal plate.
Leave off the wall for 30 seconds and then place back on the wall
Once the ecobee has rebooted
On the ecobee thermostat
Go to Main Menu Hamburger menu icon > General Settings icon >  Settings > WiFi > Select WiFi Network
