Sierra Club c/o Clair Tappaan Lodge is hereby authorized to use and occupy National Forest Service lands, subject to the terms and conditions of this permit, to provide outfitting and guiding services within the Truckee Ranger District of the Tahoe National Forest, legal description of permit area is described as:

Donner Summit area in portions of Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 16, 21, 28 and 33 and 34 T.17N, R.15E, MDM; Castle Peak ara in portions of Setions 1, 2, 11, 12 and 24 T.17N, R.14E, MDM; Pacific Crest area south from Round Valley [Peter Grubb Hut] to Squaw Valley in portions of Sections 3,10,11,12,13, and 14 T.16N, R.15E; and Setions 16, 17, 18 and 30 T.16N., R.16E., MDM; Clair Tappaan Lodge ara in portions of Section 24, T.17N, R.14E

The permit was designed to connect Clair Tappaan Lodge to the huts, Peter Grub in the north and Benson and Bradley in the south.
It includes many hikes we do, Mt Judah loop, Frog Lake overlook (partially), Summit Lake, Castle Peak, PCT to Mt Anderson and Flora Lake.

Popular hikes not included are: Loch Leven Lakes, Salmon L, Lola Montez, Sand Ridge Lake, Five Lakes, Long Lake (Palisade Creek Trail), Sage hen Creek trail.

Peter only has to report the number of visitors to Tahoe National Forest not the specific locations, so this works for now.
